Shoe

Hi
Hope you all had a great weekend despite the snow!
Here is my latest card, I've been having a play with my CD's this weekend and used a Shoes in Bloom image.

I wanted to make something clean and simple and I hope I've managed to.

I used half a piece of A4 cut in half lengthwise then folded to make the card base, used one of the images from Shoes in Bloom (sorry I can't remember whether it was vol 1 or 2).  I shrunk it so it was around about 2 inches.  I then matted the image onto a piece of white card and then onto a piece of black card.  I then made some flowers to match, to finish off I put a little dot of yellow pearly doodles in the centres.

I'm going to enter my card into The CD Sunday Challenge

Hope you all have a good week.

Blue Fairy

Hi there,

This is becoming a habit, 3rd post in 3 days!

I've really enjoyed making this card as blue is not a colour that would usually be my first choice

I used a fairy digi stamp that I have (sorry I can't remember where she's from) printed her onto white card and coloured her with Spectrum Noir pens.  I printed off the papers from the Pretty Sweet Cd from Polka Doodles, I then used my shimmer chalks to soften the edges of the image and backing papers.  I then matted the papers on to navy card and mounted them onto my card base which is a pale blue shimmery card.
I made the flowers and matched the colours to the backing papers in Craft Artist and finished the card with some card candy that I have.

I hope you like her.

Sketch n Stash Challenge 80...FREE CHOICE SKETCH

Hi
I was blog hopping yesterday and came across a new challenge (well new to me!), it's the Sketch and Stash Challenge so I thought I would have a go.

For the card I needed to use something new/neglected and to follow a sketch and I chose sketch number 21 and turned it 90 degrees.

The new item I used was a cute free digi stamp from Whoopsi Daisy, which I coloured with pro markers, the backing papers were from a Polka Doodles CD and the flowers were from my stash that I'd already made. I added a little coordinated sentiment I printed in Craft Artist.
Thank you for looking.

Bye for now

Baby!

Hi
This card is a commission I had for a new baby (bit obvious really!!)  I really enjoyed making this it was a bit of a challenge as the card is A4, so a big area to colour.

The image is my current favourite from Mo's Digital Pencil.  I used a plain and gingham yellow backing paper from my stash along with a flower and white ribbon.  I cut the letters from plain and polka dot yellow paper on my Cricut.

Thank you for looking

Birds

Hello, I hope you've had a good weekend, where does it go it seems to go so much faster than the week!

I decided this year I would try and enter more and varied challenges so here is my go at 'Less is More'.

The image is a digi stamp that I have in my stash, I thought it was a bit plain on it's own so I gave it a little colour with pastels and just added a printed sentiment.

Thank you for looking.

1st Card of the Year

Hi, I hope you had a great Christmas and New Year.

I'm going to try and be more organised this year, to make my family and friends cards well in advance instead of the norm, the day before I need it! (It's not a resolution as I will break that before the months out!)

This card I've made to enter the Polka Doodles Challenge which is colouring with Greys.  Right out of my comfort zone, but I thought I'd have a go anyway.
The backing papers, sentiment and image are all from the Pretty Sweet CD from Polka Doodles all printed on Grey Scale.  I coloured the image in with Spectrum Noir pens, and finished off with a couple of Card Candy.

Thank you for looking
